LamePbassin and I hit up the local pond to compete in our very first Barbie Pole challenge. Instead of doing what most have already done we decided to add our own twist and throw in the MTB Pro box. Not only did we have to fish with a 2ft fairy wand, but we were also limited to what we were allowed to fish with. I really hope you enjoyed this
I tried Muddy River Catfishing's Chicken Liver Chum Bait VS my Garlic Hot Dogs and the results were amazing. I took this experiment to my favorite Texas fishing hole expecting different results. This stuff is good and will be put into my catfishing arsenal. Check out Muddy River Catfishing on youtube... he's a pro As requested, I put a list below of the gear used in this video. Welcome to the forth episode in our "Beginners Series" from http://holsingersflyshop.com. In this episode you will learn how to tie the Soft Hackle Hare's Ear. This is a great fly to have in your box and on your leader any time your fishing wet fly's. I also usually have one of these on a dropper on my nymph leader. The Hares Ear is a generic fly meant to resemble various insects. From the team at http://holsingersflyshop.com this is the pattern I use to tie for a Black Nosed Dase that I fish. This is not exactly the way we tie the one for sale on our website. I tied this on this way to show a couple different things I thought were important in learning to tie a streamer. (Side note) if I was tying for the website of tying a streamer where the hook shank shown i would start at the head of the fly with the tinsel and wrap to the bend and back to the head so no shank showed through the tinsel.
