17:53 is really the beginning of the part you want to see, but this whole video has some decent content if you watch the whole thing but yea go ahead and click to the end and watch me flail through the waves.
Video is a couple weeks old.... got to the beach with kayak in tow right after sunrise, drove around looking for 50lb stripers leaping out of the water but instead saw a whole lot of nothing.. drove around with Tenzin for a little while searching for any sign of life worth launching the kayaks for... found the fleet and I scouted it out from the beach.. It didnt look to promising.. Romo and Mike arrived.. we got out into the ocean a little before 9am... penetrated the fleet and found they were working a huge school of peanut bunker with very few fish on them, didn't see anyone hook up or any bait spraying, a couple hours passed, the fleet disappeared, started finding little pieces of life here and there, Romo got a nice Bluefish, there were some 24"-30" Bass working some peanuts in tight... it was basically dead all over out
That was insane…Although I was never able to connect with a barracuda it was just enough to see these gnarly fish in their element. As a freshwater angler these past few days have been such an eye opener and moving experience. It is a WHOLE other world down here in Florida. I hope you guys are enjoying these Florida vlogs…as always, keep fishing NEVER stop! —Young Plugg
Most unreal fishing day of my entire life with Saltwater OG’s Ben Chancey and Josh from BlackTipH. Between watching a freakin bonito blow up on a frog and giant dinosaurs thrash around on the beach I was pretty overwhelmed with the first full day here in Southern Florida. Huge shoutout to Ben for taking us out on his rig and showing us the ways of the oceans. --Young Plugg
Fish species Caught: - Goliath Grouper - Sawfish (we were not targeting sawfish, it was accidentally hooked while shark fishing) - Bonito - Blue Runners - Lady Fish - Jack Crevalle - Spanish Mackerel
Josh and Dr. Robert Borrego headed offshore to a shallow water wreck on the east coast of Florida. Josh started off playing with a large congregation of monster bull sharks. Several cobia came up with the sharks. Josh hooked one of the cobia and fought it for several minutes. The cobia was being chased by a bull shark. Josh tightened the drag and palmed the spool, breaking off the cobia. Shortly after the goliath groupers showed up. Josh tossed a bait in the water and hooked up to the first goliath grouper. The fish fought very hard! After a struggle, the 200lb+ goliath grouper was boat side. The hook was removed and the grouper was quickly released. Josh started playing with the groupers and a monster goliath attacked the bonito on the rope (probably over 500lbs)! Josh and Borrego dropped a huge piece of amberjack in the water and hooked up to another monster goliath grouper. This fish pulled some serious drag! Josh managed to get the goliath to the boat. The fish was quickly released.

If you've got an iPhone that's destroyed beyond repair, why not use it as a fishing lure!? It just might work!
We've been apart of some crazy stuff in our time on YouTube but this was up there as the craziest thing we've seen! As you can see, this ~5kg (11lb) fish was safely released to fight another day. If the fish is reading this, thanks mate for guest starring in our video, you're awesome!
This video was filmed in the South-West of Western Australia, which is an amazing part of the world.
This 450 pound black marlin was caught off Cairns, Australia. After about 22 minutes it panicks and goes down deep, where the sharks live. Big mistake. At least we got to keep the Bill! As for the size, its the Captain who makes the call, not me. Barry Cross (skip) estimated it to be around 450lbs, so thats what i go with even though i might agree with some that its closer to 350 than 450. For a reference, at the end of the video when i'm holding the head, i'm 6'4". It might also be helpful to know that the boat is 65ft long and has a beam (width) of 17.5ft. Comments have been disabled after the Internet Trolls with no clue as to what game fishing is all about started dropping one liners. Educate yourself before you opinionize kids. Go to www.mvjoejoe.com for more info on the awesome boat! There is a professional DVD out with this footage on it, go to www.bransfords.com.au to buy.
